Frances is an Independent Producer who turns creative ideas into a practical and marketable entertainment product, with suitable financing and artistic talent in place.
As a director in radio, television, film and new media, she has made documentaries for broadcast, web and as private commissions.
Currently, she is Producer of Watershed Writers with Tanis MacDonald, a radio documentary series that airs on https://www.midtownradio.ca/
She is also a published poet, writer, memoirist, playwright and storyteller.
Frances is a contributor to CBC network’s flagship documentary series, Ideas. She is a guest author on CBC radio, aired on public networks in Canada. Her documentaries on human rights have been distributed in schools, churches and ecumenical organizations around the world.
She is recognized as a Romani Writer. Her essays and poetry are published online and in Canadian and international magazines and journals. She has interviewed, collaborated with or produced profiles on human rights activists. Frances in a Contributor to the Roma Peoples Project at Columbia University.
Frances makes her home in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
